Bottle. Cloudy golden color with minimal to no head. Heavy sour vinegar notes in the aroma, very nice. Great tartness and sour accents in the body. Granny Smith Apple ending. One of the better Gueueze’s I’ve had.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a creamy off-white head. Barnyard aroma from the distance already, orange fruity and tart. Flavour is solid citric to acidic, yet with a mild remaining sweetness coming through. Dry and citric finish: mild wooden dryness beneath a solid citric finish. A slightly unclear very yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sour as is usual with a gueze. It is a nice sour gueze taste. joergen (27970) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 11, 2006

Aroma of wood and fruits.
Acidic flavour of wood and fruits. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 7, 2007
bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is smooth sourness, apricot and some grassyness. Flavour is smooth, but sour apricot along with wood and some earthyness. Has aged enormously well.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2005 (Bottle 37,5 cl). St. Louis is best known for it’s sweetened, filtered, "commercial" gueuze. But the label is also fond of this classical gueuze which is produced in very small batches. Almost completely flat and with no head. Pale golden and slightly hazy. It kind of looks like unfiltered apple juice. It has the correct gueuze-sourness but it lacks the extreme complexity in the aroma, which signifies the best gueuzes. 010403 omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 2, 2002
Pale yellow. Sour, fresh, clean. Suprisingly authentic.

Almost clear amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Medium sourness. Wet wood, slightly dusty. Touch of dried fruits. Light dry finish. A bit over emphasised on the wet wood but okay.
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2010 Tap at Max’s. Golden yellow, slight haze. Aroma of grapefruit. Flavor is slightly sour but not complex. Rather plain. 3.1
Bottle at Balck Squirrel. Better complexity and body, similar flavor. 3.8 Leighton (21083) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2015
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli - picked up at Ales by Mail. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma holds some damp leaves, grass, lemon rind, earth, bread. Light sweet flavor with citric, lemony tartness, some pale bready sugars, moist leaves, light grassy bitterness, wood. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Clean and somewhat sharp on the finish, with more lemon, some woody dryness, damp grass. The more I drink it the more I like it. Pretty solid.
