popiela (869) - Poznañ, POLAND - JUN 20, 2016
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2017 Butelka 0,25l.

Very sweet, very fruity. Any aromas which are necessary in gueze. Any brett aromas. Correct but nothing more.

EHSRanders (2052) - Tjele, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2016
Bottle. Hazy golden color with virtually no head. nice fruity aroma and flavor. Waoo flavor.

Maersk (271) - MOLDOVA - MAY 21, 2016
Clear amber, small head. Smells fermented fruit and cider. Medium body with sweet and sour focus with some unfermented malts and yeast. Drinkable, easy going.

ForlornHope (521) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2016
Bottle at home. Pours amber in colour with a dense white head. The aroma is strange, like flat cola left in a damp cellar. For all that, it is strangely appealing, and probably the best feature of this beer. The taste is sweet and again has cola notes, but with little of the sharpness one associates with these beers. Fruity flavours and a short finish. Not unpleasant, but too sweet for me.

DwarfeD (3513) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - MAY 12, 2016
375ml bottle at home. Clear golden with a small quickly disappearing head. Light to medium body with fizzy carbonation. Very sweet with subtle sour tones. Mwah.

Panzerfaust (849) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - APR 28, 2016
250ml bottle from Club de Cervezas. Pours a clear amber color with a medium but fast diminishing off-white head. Aroma is a bit sour but mostly shy in its expresiveness. Some melon, green apple and pear mixed up with touches of funk, old bread and cucumber. Restrained. Taste is also low intensity. A bit tart, a bit fruity, even a bit veggie. Not really complex, but all of these are just angles of the same semi-sour, semi-sweet taste. Hints of apples, pears, some funk and dough. Alright. Light to medium body, soft and fine carbonation. Low aftertaste. Decent enough, I’m glad I tried it. My introduction to the style but I’m sure it’s a really basic and dull specimen.

Bottle. Golden color, weak foam. Aroma: wild cats, acid, barrel, cheese. Taste: sweet, malt, candy, slightly sour.

LazyPyro (1203) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2016
25cl bottle. Pours a clear orange-brown colour with a small white head. Aroma of sweet and sour fruit, citrus, apple. The taste is sweet but moreso it is sour, some citrussy notes, apple. Overall not great but this is the first gueuze I’ve tried.

ljthiessen (1348) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 8, 2016
Bottle. Clear amber pour with a thick white head. Aroma is a little sweet, some tropical fruit and brett notes. Taste is fairly sweet, some soft fruit and subtle spice. Not great for the style, but still tasty.
