For 6 months the flesh of the fresh sour cherries slowly digests in the Lambic. The intense flavour of cherries and light nuances of almond from the pits determine the flavour of this fruity delicacy.

Note: ABV from 4.5% to 4% at some point.

I rate beers I think significantly better than average, simple as that. I am not into showing off through prolix bloviating. My honest appraisals will offset those who intentionally downgrade excellent beers attempting to appear a snob. . :)

ManVsBeer (11446) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2016
Keg @ Bridge Bier Huis, Burnley. Deep red with a head. Has a sweetened cherry flavour that lingers, with a more pronounced nose.

PlutonowyMan (924) - Baardegem, BELGIUM - MAY 19, 2016
Kolor rubinowy, troch? nawet brunatny, nieco m?tny. Piana lekko ró?owa, znikoma i bardzo krótkotrwa?a. Aromat: s?odki kompot z wi?ni, czu? sporo s?odyczy i nieznaczne akcenty winne. Smak: wi?cej charakteru winnego, jest bardziej wytrawny i s?odki kompot z wi?ni, plus lekka kwa?no??. Goryczka lekka, pestkowa, wysycenie wysokie

Pours a deep red with aromas of sour, light cherries. The body was medium and was sour, tart. Cherries seeped through enough and it was smoothe and easy.

minutemat (6356) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2016
Bottle @ Estaminet de la Longue Croix, Hondeghem, Belgium. Pours vivid reddish pink, small bubbly pinkish white head. Aroma is artificial cherries. Taste continues with a chemical sweetness and no real tartness expected of a lambic. Very light.

(bottle) clear ruby colour with a frothy pink head. aroma of sour cherries and vanilla, with lots of sugar icing, some herbal hops and black forest cake. flavour is mostly raisins, cherries and gently roasted malts, with a hint of talcum powder, caramel and a light-bitter cherry stone finish. light- to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Botella. Presencia roja profunda con corona blanca poco persistente. Aroma dulzon a sirope de cereza, Sabor sintectico a cereza.

thellgren (1180) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 12, 2016
0.25 l bottle from somewhere. Deep red colour with some head. Aroma is cherries and taste is also... cherries. Maybe also some dough. I guess that could be wheat. This is a sweetened kriek with 15% of cherry something. There is also Stevia (sweetener) and some ascorbin acid.

Nonsenzio (57) - Berlin, Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 6, 2016
Red brownish robe, very sweet and lemonady on the nose. Very sweet synthetic cherries on the tongue. Not my kind of beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

LazyPyro (1914) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 29, 2016
25cl bottle. Pours a clear crimson colour with a small slightly pink head. Aroma is very much cherry, although a bit artificial, still nice though, don’t detect much of anything else. Flavour is also strongly of cherry, very sweet like a syrup, a bit of malt, some sourness in the finish. Not too tart. A nice drink.
