COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For 6 months the flesh of the fresh sour cherries slowly digests in the Lambic. The intense flavour of cherries and light nuances of almond from the pits determine the flavour of this fruity delicacy.

Note: ABV from 4.5% to 4% at some point.

Dermi (1200) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 17, 2016
25 cl, bottled. Pours clear ruby red with a decent slightly pink white head. Aroma: Cherries, malt. Some slightly nutty tones. Taste: Sweet, rock sugar. Cherries, notes of maltiness. Palate: Medium body, notable carbonation. Lacks tartness. Sweet lambic, industrial feel, still not bad. (6-3-6-3-13, 17.2.2016), initial rating (7-4-7-4-13, 5.6.2011).

Red-brown beer with a white / pink head. Tastes very sweet, a lot of cherries (cherry syrup), fruity, some sour.

19/XII/15 - 25cl from ... (I don’t know, I was just happy to finally get my hands on it, seems to be rare in Belgium, everywhere it’s replaced with the "premium kriek") @ home - BB: I/2016 (2015-1734)

Clear copper red to rusty red brown beer, creamy aery off-white to dirty pinkish beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, cherry candy, bit funky, lemony touch. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, lots of cherry syrup, sourish touch as well, some real lambik funk underneath all that sweet violence. Aftertaste: lemony, candy, sugary, bit funky.

Icedwarf (1908) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - JAN 24, 2016
Donkerrood bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is fris zoetzuur en frutiig, kriek is dudielijk aanwezig en gen vreemde bijsmaak. Best goed.

Look; light pink top on clear ruby body. Aroma; light fermented cherries, marzipan notes. Taste; cherries, some apple notes. Sweet cherry finish. Lightbodied. Overall; juicy cherry. [25cl btl, abv4.0%, BB.01.2017, [email protected]]

Foerdifuxx (425) - Franconia, GERMANY - OCT 17, 2015
Clear ruby red beer with a pink, medium-sized, medium-lasting head. Aromas of cherry, bitter almond, yeast, must, heavy floral perfume (the ones your grandma uses) and powdered sugar. Medium sour in taste, wheat, cherry and floral hops, acidic, lots of almond in the finish, bit musty. Fizzy carbonation, light body, creamy texture. My first Kriek, unfortunately only 25cl.

Bottle at Winking Lizard. Pours red with a medium pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of cherries and yeast. Light-bodied with a mildly medicinal cherry character, with some yeast and malt in the background. The finish is fruity with a cherry syrup aftertaste. Average overall.
