COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For 6 months the flesh of the fresh sour cherries slowly digests in the Lambic. The intense flavour of cherries and light nuances of almond from the pits determine the flavour of this fruity delicacy.

Note: ABV from 4.5% to 4% at some point.

Bottle. Right off I can smell the cherries and and the taste does not disappoint. The tart cherries really come through and I could almost drink this like juice.

22nd Febuary 2008. Hmmm. My rating is going to stick out like a sore thumb - I will try and set the scene. This was drunk at the end of a very long beer day including an evening in the Kulminator sampling old dark and often bitter beers. This beer was a real fresh breeze and blew me away with itís intense cherry. Itís sharp but doesnít induce a wince. Fruity but not cloying. The cherry is somewhere between fresh cherry and morello cherry. Loved it!

Bottle from Green Life in Asheville, NC. Pink head, cough syrup nose sweet candy taste. A little more syrupy than most krieks and a hint of cough syrup, but very good overall.

Vintage ca 1994. Oh, so full of bitter almond and cherries. A lovely refreshing beer. Quite complex. leaves a dry fruity aftertaste. Hope it is not laxative... :-)

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2009 Drank from a bottle in Amsterdam into a tulip. This is one of the better lambics Iíve had. color is dark red with a white head. It smells very fruity, mostly cherries. It tastes sweet, cherry is everywhere. with a very fine finish.

Yum, yum, yum. Cherry market basket aroma, pinkish amber color. Full of great cherry flavor. Competitive with kasteel rouge, with a thinner body.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2011 Bottle at Brother Tuckers. Big cherry nose. What a fantastic surprise. Crisp and sweet with big cherry flavors. itís the kinda beer you might only have one or two of because of the sweetness, but still rally good stuff. Can you say "PANTY DROPPER"?
