For 6 months the flesh of the fresh sour cherries slowly digests in the Lambic. The intense flavour of cherries and light nuances of almond from the pits determine the flavour of this fruity delicacy.

Note: ABV from 4.5% to 4% at some point.

0,25l as Kriek Vieux Bruxelles, nice cherry aroma, dark red colour, with light white head, lightly bitter, lightly bitter, medium sweetness, no sourness at all, light body, slick feel, average carbonation, Im not much into Krieks but i think an average one, would appreciate bit souness and less sweetness

In short: sugary kriek beer.
Pours little hazy bright reddish with nice reddish head. Moderate head retention, some good lacing. Sugary, kriek nose, some syrupy, Light body, average carbonation, slick texture. Taste is more into the sweet side, some artificial edulcorated, little tart character. Refreshing and easy, not too much else.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 Lichte krieksmaak. Voor mensen die een niet al te zuur biertje lusten. Droge nasmaak. Lijkt taninne. Verfrissend zomerbier.

Bottle bought 08/2017. BB date 02-2019. Nice, partly coarse, pink head. Beautiful ruby color. Aroma slightly weak, but fruity and a bit tart. Not bad. Taste: slightly tart, very sweet, with cherries. Close to cherry juice. Tartness lingers nicely, but is unable to balance the sweetness. Medium bodied, quite pleasant mouthfeel. Nevertheless, not my cup of beer.

Robe rubis, fine mousse. Nez plus acidulé, un peu moins chimique, mais toujours doucereux. Bouche à l’attaque médicamenteuse (antibiotique !!!) amertume et finale abrupte. Beurk

330ml. bottle in Vientiane, Laos. Pours a deep red with a minimal head. Cherry aroma quite pronounced, sweet. Strong cherry taste, sharp, sour, maybe a little too much. A decent cherry lambic but proportions of sweetness and cherry flavouring a little unsubtle.

colui72 (1081) - HONG KONG - APR 20, 2017
Bright ruby with a medium pink head. Tart aroma, tastes of cherry syrup, quite artificial but enjoyable. Gently carbonated, light bodied, tart over any other tastes. Ok!

Fisler (653) - Bamberg, GERMANY - MAR 18, 2017
Dunkles rot im Glas, Kirscharoma, soweit alles wie versprochen. Im Trunk feine Säure, nicht krachig aber irgendwie etwas böckern. Dennoch ein schöner Ausgleich nach fettem Essen zum absacken.
