Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 30, 2010
Bottle. Deep thick hazy purple color, thin creamy pink head. Aroma is blackcurrant, cardboard and soap. Flavor is fruity sweet with some sour berries, better than expected after smelling the aroma. Not really beer, but a quite refreshing and natural carbonated fruit drink. Sour fruity finish.

drpimento (3814) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 4, 2010
Nice beer. Creates a bit of a quandry tho - I like the beer both as a tart beer and yet, I also like the sweet tart beers. What to do. Anyway, this stands fine on its own. Pours with a nice light purple foamy frothy head and lots of lace. Color is an almost opaque purple. Aroma is currants, spice and yeastoids. good body and carbonation. Flavor is like aroma, tart and almost no sweetness. Finish is like flavor. Drinkable. Not a lot tho.

Bottle, thanks alot rciesla, well sort of. Plum purple pour with some white head,. Weird berry aroma. Very astringent tart and sweet berry flavor. Not very good at all.

michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 20, 2009
330ml Bottle: Aroma of pungent black currant , slight white grape juice, and a hint of medicine. Poured dark purple/magenta in color with a small, fizzy, purple head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Not sparkling. Full of tiny and HUGE particles throughout. Flavor is heavily sweet and moderately tart. Tastes of currant, out the wazoo! Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, slightly tart, black currant finish.

drowland (9184) - Georgia, USA - SEP 21, 2009
Bottle into a pint glass. The aroma on this is oddly like barrel aged beers - wood, vanilla, cream, and tannins. The flavor is big fruit, lots of sour, and even some nice lambic funk. With some time one can even find some smoked meats in the mix and a bit of berry skins.

daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 17, 2009
Bottle in Tallahassee. Pours a dark red. Aroma is cherries, currants and some tart woodiness. Flavor isn’t good. A mix of cherries and perfume. Woody. Nasty flavor.

beerledgend (1196) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 10, 2009
Huge blackcurrent aroma. Sweet blackcurrent flavours. Smooth mellow mouthfeel. Ribina like. Really great.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 30, 2009
Bottled (from Deep red colour with some blueish hints, pink mediumsized head. Aroma is black currant, actually quite sour stuff. Flavour is black currant with some fruity and sappy notes. Something between sweet and sour. A nice and drinkable brew.

thewolf (12932) - Kolding, DENMARK - APR 26, 2009
Bottle, bought @ Ambrosetti, Berlin.
Pours very deep red with a mahogany/purple hue. Fine, fizzy, red-pink head. Tart aroma, good, clean black currants. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly tart, very fruity, good black currants. Actually quite nice and drinkable. Not a sour lambic, but a good in-between from the sour and the sweet ones.

ogivlado (8316) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 16, 2009
Bottled(250ml). -Deep red/mahagony coloured, medium sized dark pink head, tart black currant nose. Very sour and slight metallic black currant taste and finish. Like some sort of black currant drops.
