2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Intens cherry red color with fluffy diminishing pink froth. Aroma is that of fruit flavoured candies and red berry-jam. Taste is smooth and has a good balance between sweet and sour. The fruity part is to artificial and reminds me to much at sour candies. The liveyness is good and the consitancy to sirupy. For free with the newspaper today. From a cann 25 cl.
At De Kalvarieberg, Bruges. Pours hazy red with a thin, pink head. The aroma contains cherry, sugar and some almond/marzipan. It tastes heavy sweet and only very light sour with a lingering sweetness - no Lambic-like finish. Light body, sticky texture, fizzy carbonation. Nah, this is just not it. gopherfan99 (1954) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 27, 2017
Bottle; pours clear ruby red with a pink head; aroma of cherries and hints of malt; taste is somewhat sweet with cherries and traces of malt; dry, light tart cherry finish Ysok02 (1621) - Mons, BELGIUM - JUL 23, 2017
Robe grenat, fine mousse, peu persistante. Nez sur le yaourt à la cerise, le curberdon, le bonbon, assez chimique. Bouche à l’attaque doucereuse, tout aussi lactée, que le nez, fine bulle, finale fruitée. Est-ce vraiment une kriek ? Bierridder_S (974) - BELGIUM - JUN 22, 2017

Clear red with pinkish head. Nose is sweet artificial cherry. Taste is artificial cherry, very sweet, even after all these years. AtronSeige (1595) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - JUN 14, 2017
Aroma: Medium-high cherry aroma, very similar to cherry lollipops. Medium-light marzipan. Acidity is present, but not strong.
Appearance: Brilliantly clear, red body with a small, pink head with fair retention.
Flavour: Medium-light horse blanket and cherry on the first sip. Acidity is present, but balanced by a sweetness. Medium dry finish, with a lingering cherry lollipop flavour. No hops.
Mouthfeel: Light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: The sweetness of the beer is detracting from what I expect from a lambic. This feels almost like a slightly complex alcopop, not a complex lambic.
250 ml bottle, poured.

All cherries in the taste. 99% sweet, 1% tart.
Lovely Belgian fruit beer, which I have a definite bias for. Take that into accoun bursprak (3219) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2016
Bottle @ Brussels apartment. Clear deep red pour with a small head. Sweet cherries, a bit sticky, light funk and a sweet finish. Decent!
