COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St. Louis Premium Kriek is a kriekenbier, or cherry beer, made on a lambic base. A quarter of St. Louis Premium Kriek is the juice of Obacinska krieken cherries that have been steeped in gueuze for six months. It also has a smaller proportion of St. Louis Kriek Fond Tradition. This beer is a thirst-quencher with a low alcohol content and, in the nose, overwhelmingly sweet aromas of krieken cherries. Its very fruity with a hint of sourness and slight touches of almond coming from the krieken cherry stones.

1 PT 9.4 FL.OZ Bottle. Poured clear dark ruby red with a light pink head. Aroma is mostly cherries as you may expect. Taste is consistent with aroma although a bit too sweet for my liking is not bad some sour note along the way and a dry finish.

Sweet cherries, fruity sourness, minor barnyard both on aroma and taste. Pleasant pop-lambic

Pours a black cherry red from this bottled on February 19th 2013 black wrapped caged and corked bottle. Big sweet cherry smell maybe some wheat. All cherries in the taste. 99% sweet, 1% tart. Lovely Belgian fruit beer, which I have a definite bias for. Take that into accoun

From bottle. Pours a clear ruby red with a small pinkish head. Aroma has lots of cherry soda, slight cherry pits, light marzipan. Taste is sweet, sour, candy, artificial, soda... You know... High carbonation and a light body.

250ml into wine glass. Looks like cherry juice with a persistent but thin carbonation. Nose is cough medicine. In the mouth, cough medicine mixed with cherry flavor. Barest hint of bitterness in the back gives way to sweetness. Shouldve known better when I saw "sweetened with Stevia" on the bottle. Really, youd be better off making a highball with Cherry Herring. At least the cherry flavor reads as real cherry and not artificial?

Nice strong cherry in aroma and taste. Light palate, but full of cherries. What ever that means. A bit of tartness in middle somewhere. Ends more sweeter. Its drinkable.
