Overall disappointing, the taste is more on the sweet cherry ’Lindemans’ side of the Kriek street than the drier more austere Boon or Leifmans. Doesn’t have the complexity of a good lambic.
Robe grenat, fine mousse, peu persistante. Nez sur le yaourt à la cerise, le curberdon, le bonbon, assez chimique. Bouche à l’attaque doucereuse, tout aussi lactée, que le nez, fine bulle, finale fruitée. Est-ce vraiment une kriek ? Bierridder_S (929) - BELGIUM - JUN 22, 2017

Clear red with pinkish head. Nose is sweet artificial cherry. Taste is artificial cherry, very sweet, even after all these years. AtronSeige (1538) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - JUN 14, 2017
Aroma: Medium-high cherry aroma, very similar to cherry lollipops. Medium-light marzipan. Acidity is present, but not strong.
Appearance: Brilliantly clear, red body with a small, pink head with fair retention.
Flavour: Medium-light horse blanket and cherry on the first sip. Acidity is present, but balanced by a sweetness. Medium dry finish, with a lingering cherry lollipop flavour. No hops.
Mouthfeel: Light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: The sweetness of the beer is detracting from what I expect from a lambic. This feels almost like a slightly complex alcopop, not a complex lambic.
250 ml bottle, poured.
23F. Fruit Lambic

Big sweet cherry smell maybe some wheat.
All cherries in the taste. 99% sweet, 1% tart.
Lovely Belgian fruit beer, which I have a definite bias for. Take that into accoun bursprak (3205) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2016
Bottle @ Brussels apartment. Clear deep red pour with a small head. Sweet cherries, a bit sticky, light funk and a sweet finish. Decent! RasmusOtt (2764) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2016
Pours dark clear dark red with a tiny pink head. Aroma of vanilla, cherries and soda pop. Taste of sweet cherries, red sweets and vanilla. Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2016
From bottle. Pours a clear ruby red with a small pinkish head. Aroma has lots of cherry soda, slight cherry pits, light marzipan. Taste is sweet, sour, candy, artificial, soda... You know... High carbonation and a light body.
