Lubiere (14110) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 21, 2005
Light golden lager with a thick creamy white head. Light malt, grass and skunk in aroma. A rather heavy malt, sweetish and corny, with german crisp hops. Medium bodied. Not a crappy US Lager, but not a good german one either. Bought in Potsdam NY, Fall 2004.

Drake (14036) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 14, 2009
Egads... the skunk out of this one is ferocious. 12 ounce bottle. Crystal clear pale golden color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of grass, skunk, grains and sawdust. Taste is fruity, almost like apple juice. A bit of grassiness and skunk. Thin bodied. Typical.

For a classic German Pils or whatever this one is an abomination. I would consider it more of an EPL.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2003 All-around average beer. There are much better Pilsners out there that are less skunky.

On tap. To think, 20 years ago, I used to think this was the best beer on earth. My how times change. Poured a very light yellow with no head. Not much to the smell or tastes. Light hops and a little skunky. Pass…
