Two row spring barley from the south of England, a special strain of yeast, ice-age glacier water from the "Rotenburger Rinne," plus hops from the famous "Hallertau Hop Gardens" in southern Germany are the ingredients that give St. Pauli Girl Lager its unsurpassed quality and taste and keeps you coming back for more.

I do not like the sour hint to the malt in this type of beer but this one is better than heiniken

Not good. I canít stomach this at all. It made feel sick actually. The tase was harsh and skunky. The description on the bottle reads "distinctive full bodied taste and hoppy aroma". What I found was that it taste more like what is squeezed out of the mop at the end of night. Not good.

A good light beer. It makes it easy to throw back more than one or two.

Skunky and hoppy aroma, definitely full-bodied with a heavy bitter taste that definitely adds to the skunkiness of this beer. I will not be drinking St. Pauli Girl again, just not my type of beer.

this isnít that great. Its probably the kind of skanky keg beer they drink at colleges in Germany.

Golden pour with a rapidly dissapating head, sour corn aroma. Seems to me to be closer to a Pils very clear high carbonation bubbly on the palet

A nice aftertaste, not too heavy. I do think this import has been sitting around awhile at the 6 pack shop. I do enjoy the packaging and the taste, regardless of the "best used by" date.

Overrated, in my opinion. Thereís little flavor and itís not even filling. The only thing St. Pauli has it going for them is that thereís no bitter aftertaste. Other than that, thereís nothing to offer here.
