Its very presentation is very inviting. The German purity law assures excellent beers giving another example like this one. A blond beer with all the flavors well developed. Good foam, hop/floral aroma, bitter to the taste but not too ofensive. A big pretzel is its perfect sidekick. Anheuser (1) - USA - SEP 3, 2006 does not count
Best dang beer you can find for 9.99 a 12. Strong enough to make it worthwhile and yet not overpowing , still with a great taste.

This beer is very good. its kind of expensive, but its well worth it. I had this in my fridge and offered one to my room mate who drinks bud. He tried it and immediately fell in love with it. I would definitely recommend this over Heineken. WastedYouthBrew (143) - Phila (Home of Geno's Steaks), Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2002
Nothing like drinking out of a beer with a hot blonde on the bottle, holding more beer, it really makes you want to dive on in and get funky. The Germans are such caring and wonderful people. As for taste, it’s a delicious tasting German pilsner, smooth all the way down to the last drop, a very sensational brew. Reminded me of Heineken, but better then Heineken.

This beer may smell like skunk. But believe me, after a few of these you will start licking the bottle (hey, she is hot, isn’t she?). I recommend this beer to Light Beer drinkers who want to finally delve into the world of REAL beer. This is a good start.

Brilliantly clear straw-gold color with a larger head. Grainy malt aroma, with but the slightest hint of hops. Crisp, light body and texture. Heavy skunky aroma with some grainy sweetness. Quite clean, with some grassy hop notes and mild bitterness. Refreshing strong carbonation. I drank eight beers at the local pub and took home a fat chick.

If you like Skunk, you will like this. It has a great aroma and a damn smooth taste. I would love to have a keg of her. User42649 (209) - - NOV 2, 2006
Brilliant golden with big white head. Very unique grassy/hoppyflavor and aroma, clean and exeptionally quaffable. I had this at my first Oktoberfest in Houston 1980, my first experience outside of B-M-C-Stroh’s-- a true epiphany. I stil think this is a great brew, and have it often. St. Pauli Girl is produced in the same area, and supposedly shares the same premises as Beck’s. The two beers are remarkably similiar which leads me to believe the former statement to be correct.
St, Pauli Girl has a nice, creamy head that lasts down to the bottom of the glass..er excuse me... I meant STEIN! Nice, clean straw yellow in appearence. Light, fragrant malt-hop nose. Dry, but not as dry as Beck’s. In my opinion, actually a better balanced beer than Beck’s, but that may be splitting hairs. St. Pauli Girl can best be summed up as a good, solid example of a well made German lager.
