UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 BOTTLE: Ugg - green bottle pilsner. Pours straw yellow, mild head. Skunky grainy aroma and taste. Drain pour. BillHick420 (470) - NORWAY - NOV 25, 2011
Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of mild hops, some malts if you REALLY try searching for it. Very bland and boring. Stay away from it, you’re not missing out. Tastes like water HuskerTan (2396) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - APR 1, 2014
A- Grains, cereal, grass, hay, water.
A- Light yellow color, clear liquid, minimal head.
T- Grains, cereal, corn, grassy, metallic, water.
P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, crisp finish.
O- The German macro. This is the same level as a Bud Light, Coors, Light, etc. Not one thing going for it. The only good thing about this beer is the hot spokeswoman they have for the brand. snoworsummer (6060) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 24, 2014
From a bottle. Pours clear dull gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes bad, like skunked sweet corn and old applesauce. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like dull corn and cracker malt. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 15, 2014
another slightly better than average yellow beer. not really skunky, so kudos for that, but not something i’ll buy again either. there are better pilseners out there when the mood hits."

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the Taco Mac in Atlanta. I have had this dozens of times in the past, first time for a review. The appearance is a clear light yellow color with a very small white head. The aroma is all "skunk". The taste is awful, the first flavor is skunky followed by some mild hops. Maybe this beer does just not travel well as it frequently seems skunked. Light, unbalanced, and bitter (sometimes more than others, this beer has ok carbonation and a good crispness. However, I find little or worth in this beer. Frank (4235) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 24, 2003
I've been waiting to try a bottle of this that isn't skunked so I can rate it. Alas, I'm afraid that day will never come so I'm rating this bottle as is. So... Like I said, skunky aroma. Yellow lager color. Decent head. Not entirely flavorless with some sweet malts and hop bitterness. Better than Heineken. Not nearly as good as Warsteiner. Wow, smells like a skunk that crawled up another skunks ass and died. Really bad aroma. Thin head with decent carbonation. Color is a very pale gold. Flavor is almost as bad. Very watered down with maybe a trace of hops. Finish is tingly and zippy with a touch of hops. Not a good beer. I am so happy that I bought this in the 24 oz version. NOT!

Growing up me and all my friends thought that this was a great beer, now my impressions have changed, along with my taste. Malt and grass nose with clear thin body and is not offensive just lacks character.
