Bottle at home bought from the Old Jerusalem. A good pour and a surprisingly light colour in the glass with a minimal head. There was a lovely malt and caramel flavour that was balanced by the St Peter's bitter hops. This was rich and warming and I thought that the malt and hops were perfectly balanced. I would classify this as a double winter warmer. Lovely.

Clear mahogany brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are intense with sweet malts and red fruits. Lots of fruit cake.

Pours a dark red - almost brown. aromas of roasted nuts and molasses. Taste is nutty malt with and a hint of alcohol. Finish is molasses with some spicy bitterness. Nice winter beer.

500ml bottle BB 12 Feb 2018 Hazy light brown with little head. Aroma is caramel, dried fruit and oaky/wood. Very oaky/dry with malt but not much sweetness which was a real disappointment. I think I got a dud bottle but this wasn’t great and I struggled to finish it.

From elcervecero. In Ikea’s pint glass. Playing Blackwell Epiphany. Caramel with some spices. Refreshing and goes up to the gead quickly. I prefer their winter ale.

Bel colore rubino limpido, schiuma poco persistente biancastra. Aroma poco pronunciato di malto, spezie, dark fruits. Palato leggero con alcol Cmq ben presente. La bevuta è dolce ma con un buon equilibrio, verve tipica inglese. Dolce con note speziate. Carbonazione bassa.
