Bottle from local bottle shop. Aroma is roasted malt, milk chocolate, creamed coffee, touch of smoke, and a little liquorice in the finish. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium and a bit creamy. Pretty rich and complex considering the abv, very enjoyable Cream Stout. Marvellous drinkability. Blastomorpha (93) - - DEC 11, 2016
Liquorice and dark fruits tickle the nose, but tastes less aromatic.
Full bodied with a nice carbonation and a bitter-sweet aftertaste.
Very satisfying. cinek (303) - POLAND - NOV 25, 2016
Not as heavy or creamy as I expected but okay. Good dark malt, chocolate flavor. No smoke or charcoal. Hops are balanced, touch herbal or earthy seemed. A little nutty, touch of dark fruit and caramel. superspak (5609) - Michigan, USA - NOV 12, 2016
500 ml bottle into imperial pint glass, bottled on 11/2/2015. Pours crystal clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a small dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, slight dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, slight dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, herbal, light smoke, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from roast/hop bitterness as well. Light carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an outstanding English style cream stout! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Spot on English malt complexity, with an awesome mouthfeel. A highly enjoyable offering.

Pitch black with a medium, frothy, tan head that thins out very quickly; very little to no lace. On the nose: a lot of bananas & grapes at first; roasted nuts, espresso coffee, creamy/buttery malts, and a little brown sugar. Flavors are very intense and bittersweet; a lot of grapes, nuts, & coffee up front. There are some bananas, green grapes, tart apples, brown sugar, and vanilla that appear subtly during the development. It finishes strong with extra dark chocolate & hops. Once it warms up, all of the flavors get a nice bump. The bittersweet balance is maintained throughout its glass life. Full body, low carbonation, bone-dry finish. Overall, it’s delicious and awesome that this beer maintains its complexity for being at a low ABV. ruramikael (169) - SWEDEN - NOV 3, 2016
chocolate, caramel, raisin, vanilla, resin, black, tan foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, full body, average carbonation, creamy, long finish, very good overall! villevav (463) - FINLAND - OCT 30, 2016
[2016-10-22] Dark, invisible, a bit hazy. Burned or roasted malt in the aroma, also something that brings oak-barrels and whisky into mind. The taste is mildly bitter with strong malt base and bitter finish. Full body, quite heavy. Bubeer (456) - - OCT 29, 2016
Opaque dark brown. Medium brown head, medium retention. Aroma intensity 3.75/5. Coffee, toast, nuts and metal aroma, broken up by floral notes from the hops, plus butter. Medium bitter. Subtle sweet. Bready aftertaste. Full body. Less thicker texture than meets the eye.
