UPDATED: FEB 25, 2017 Birra di color marrone scuro. Schiuma color cappuccino. All?olfatto sentori di liquirizia e di caffè. Al palato, il corpo è morbido e spicca un gusto come quello di caffè e cioccolato, con note di nocciole tostate. Una buona birra.

Bottle from systembolaget. Nice little burnt brown foam that disappears. Initial tastes of camp fire air, macadamia nuts, slight vodka hit at times. Tasty; I think it would make a good cask ale, so looking forward to having it again hopefully at the fabulous Jerusalem tavern. Manages the balance of bitter and sweet nicely and provides the tastes of an imperial without the tongue scraping bitterness. Decent.

Bottle. Dark chestnut, almost black color, little tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, berries. Light sour, light sweet and light bitter. Well balanced, easily drinkable. Slightly watery mouthfeel though. Good.

Bottle. Dark brown colour, almost no head. Aroma roasted, caramel, earthy hops, some dried fruits. Taste is roasted, chocolate, caramel, some hints of nuts, and sort of minty Taste. Some caramel sweetness. English earthy hopiness. Roasted aftertaste. Good one.

LCI. Beautiful bottle! Poured a creamy black stout with little head. Flavours of roasted malts and chocolate, especially in the aftertaste, longlasting in the mouth. The stout has a lovely creamy texture. Good!

Rica.

A külleme nagyon bejön. Kis ódivatú angol üveg. Máris jókedvvel nyitja ki az ember. A pohárba kiöntve fekete színű sör fogad nem túl tartós habbal. Könnyen csúszó stout. Pörkölt malátás, édeskés ízzel.

Bought this in the bottle from Total Wines. I’m a stout person so I like this beer. Not much in the way of a head when poured. Truthfully, I couldn’t tell much by the aroma, but the taste is pretty good. Lots of chocolate flavor as apposed to the coffee flavors many have. I must preface this by saying that I am drinking it straight out of the refrigerator and some of the flavors may be a bit different as it warms up. It has a bit of an alcohol overtone. I wouldn’t call this an "outstanding" beer, but I would buy it again. Generally, a good tasting stout if that is your preference.

Taste: SMOOTH, semi sweet, chocolate malts, milky, vanilla toffee. Same with the nose. Mostly black in color, opaque, with tan head and some lace. Medium body.

Dark brown pour with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is sweet chocolate and roasty malts. Feel is soft and smooth on the lighter side of medium body. Taste is sweet milk chocolate, earthy wood notes, well balanced and tasty. Very solid beer.
