"We use our Wheat Beer as the base for this beer. The zesty/pithy grapefruit is in complete harmony with the hops and malt."

Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JUN 29, 2014
Appearance: Clear amber with finger thick white head. Aroma: Biscuit malt, spicy note, caramel, grapefruit. Taste: Low sweetness, low/medium bitter and sourness. Palate: Thick fairly smooth texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, fairly abrupt and quite dry, malty, grapefruit, peppery finish. Comments: Good and glass lace.

kerenmk (4751) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 17, 2014
Bottle shared at a tasting at our place. Cloudy amber with bubbles. Lots of grapefruit in the nose but only slightly hoppy. Bitter, like expired grapefruit juice, malty, then very bitter, but in a bad way. Medium body, bitter finish with some caramel. Not good - maybe it’s a bottle/ batch/ delivery defect.

Taste like a slinky wheat beer. It gets a little better on the palate and gets to be like a corona.....so basically piss. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Pours yellowhazy with a small head, aroma of vanilla, butter and some sugar, flavoris slightly bitter with fruits and grapefruit bitterness, medium bodied.

Pours a hazy copper w/ a huge fluffy white head that leaves spotty lacing. The aroma has a European skunk thing going on. The taste is really bland w/ a weird aftertaste - possibly some strange bitterness of the grapefruit? This isn’t really that good at all!

Goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, leicht hopfig, blumig, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig, blumig, trocken, etwas Grapefruit.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Cloudy golden. Aroma of grapefruit, graininess and cardboard. Grainy flavor, a bit husky, with some grapefruit, a bit of cardboard and a bitterish finish. Rather light-bodied.

Aroma: fruity hops, grapefruit very noticeable. Appearance: medium yellow to gold, small to medium frothy head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: flat carbonation, some bitters coming up, medium long finish. Overall: interesting Fruit Beer - not my favourite style though. Pint at the Jerusalem Tavern, London.
