"English Halcyon malts are used together with lager malts. Golding hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale similar in character to a full bodied Czech lager."

Distictivly English. Lovely and subtle malts combine with just a touch of hops make this beer a pleasure to drink. It will not grab your tongue but it is worth it.

Norton (333) - Southside, Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 26, 2001
Superbly smooth, very refreshing. Slight bitter aftertase but in a good way. Mild carbonation works very well. Not too hoppy. A delightful above average choice.

ravidesai (979) - Bombay, INDIA - OCT 20, 2001
A cloudy amber beer with a short lived head. rather mild taste but has apleasing hop finish.

scrawfis (143) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - AUG 26, 2001
This ale starts out very light, but the flavor intensifies at the end. Great finish ends with a slight hopped flavor.

Green and skunky. Grainy bitterness predominates. Leaves a sticky almost vomit-like aftertaste. This is bad!
