Butelka 500 ml. Ciemnobursztynowe. Piana biala mala szybko zanikajaca. Aromat nikly trawiasto-ziemisty. Malo chmielow malo typowo cytrynowego orzezwiajacego charakteru. Dosc wodniste o orzechowo goryczkowym finiszu. Jak dla mnie niezbyt udana ipa.

Bottle at home. Slightly thin but refreshing. Mild bitter finish. No I wasn’t drinking from the bottle, you silly! Haha.

Ambrata chiara/dorata carica, schiuma e carbonazione basse. Aroma delicato, erbaceo, floreale, cereali, da luppoli classici e maltato. Sapore dolce di malto con finale amaro lungo, pungente. Una buona pale ale inglese, dissetante.

Very much in the English style, rather than anything more modern and fruity. Looks like a light bitter, with a touch of white head, and very clear. Body is light but retains its flavour. Aroma has malt, apple and hedgerow fruit. Flavour carries on in the same vein with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Decent example of the style.

500ml bottle from Waitrose. Dark gold, clear with a tiny amount of white head. Grassy and slightly astringent scent with floral notes and a hint of pine. Bitter taste with pronounced astringency. Stops short of being acrid though. Hint of tropical fruit in the aftertaste. This is actually pretty good.

50cl Bottle, thanks R&J! Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is quite English, fruity, not very citrusy, kiwi, melon, light malty. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, hoppy, mix of melon and citrus, light malty, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Meh/OK-ish.

Lore (3028) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 22, 2015
clear amber body, minimal off-white head; aroma of floral and toast notes, some bread and fruitiness; taste of malty sweetness, toast notes, hints of honey and nuts; something is missing, what would make it a good (or at least enjoyable...) IPA

From a 50cl bottle. Amber colour with an off-white head. Malty aroma. The taste is fruity and sweet with a honeyed flavour. Notes of apples and blackberries and a refreshingly dry finish. A good English IPA, well-made and full of flavour.

It is a good "English" I.P.A of course you cannot feel the hop like an American. There is a right balance with the hop and the cereal and it is bitter. Of course, it my opinion only.
