TaxiDriver (1830) - Stadland, GERMANY - NOV 12, 2017
A light sweet smell of grapefruit and some citrus. The white creamy head has a normal size and duration, the body is pale orange. A quite bitter taste, not really fruity. The body is light to medium strong, dry and creamy with a normal carbonation.

Heldere oranje kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt kruidig, mout honing. Smaakt zoetig mout tikkeltje bitter.

On cask @ CBF Düsseldorf. Grainy fresh nose. The beer starts mild and smooth, moderate bitter Refreshing with a grainy mild moderate bitter body. Refreshing, grainy and smooth. Nice English IPA.

August 2017 - Beautifully shaped 500ml bottle at home in Richmond as ’St Peters India Pale Ale’, 5.5%, BB May 2018. Pours a brilliant amber, sparkling with a dense creamy beige head. Aroma is bread, Irn Bru, orange sweets. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is woody, astringent British hops, faint notes of orange, supporting bready malt, finishes with more woody spice, assertive astringency. It’s an old fashioned British hoppy beer. Possibly a dying breed. Quite tasty if you like this sort of beer. Really surprised to see reviews here stating that this beer is bland, ’not hoppy’ or ’not bitter’ enough. I fail to see how someone could drink this and think that. (6-4-6-4-14=3.4)

Caramel taste. Caramel smell. But its not sweet. Bitter aftertaste. Feels like almost a stout beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2017 50cl bottle with my housemate. Appearance: clear pale straw with medium white head. Aroma: grains, some fruits and quite a lot of a foul, bittery smell that I can’t identify. Taste: medium sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of yeast, grains, raisins and burnt plastic. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and medium carbonation. Well, I’ll never drink this again. That’s for sure.

F: big, light tan, good retention. C: deep gold, clear. A: malty, light fruity, caramel, toast, citrus. T: malty, fruity, toasted tones, orange, light grapefruits bitterness on the palate, medium to full body, medium carbonation, more bitter than IPA but not bad, 0,5l bottle from Waitrose in Canary Wharf, London.
