COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular. Also available brewery conditioned and cold filtered in 500ml bottles.
Hops: Challenger and Goldings.
This fine beer is a blend of a mature old ale with a younger light beer - just as a true Porter should be. The marriage produces an extremely characterful brew which is dark in colour and complex in taste.

Bottiglia da 0,5 CL. Colore nero con una schiuma color cappuccino, aroma tostata, caffè e malto. Al sapore risalta molto il cioccolato, carbonazione bassa

The bitterness from roasted malts doesn't stand out like I hoped and after the aroma promised it, and the texture too thin and finish not long enough for my liking. Fine but I prefer my porters a bit thicker and heavier.

Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, toffee and nuts. Taste of spices, caramel, chocolate and coffee.

500 ml bottle into glass; dark brown color with ruby reflection; on the nose roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and caramel; in mouth is quite the same, maybe the bitterness covered a bit the flavor, after some minutes the bitter is still persistent; in conclusion a cool bottle and a good beer.

Bevuta il 17/03/2018 @TheOldTowerPub in Novara. In bottiglia. Colore nero. Schiuma beige evanescente che scompare subito. In bocca caffè amaro. Finale secco e amaro. Un po' anonima.

Buena porter, tarda en abrir pero cuando lo hace vale la pena. El regusto final un poco amargo pero buena cerveza ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Old style must mean thin in body and strangely dark fruity more than chocolatey. Wasn’t really my bag. Tried for the first time in 2009.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2017 Birra SCURA, molto buona e dissetante. se si assapora bene si riesce a sentire un leggero gusto di liquirizia/cioccolato.

Medium body, soft carbonation, Creamy with a long lasting finish. Sweet roasted malt with notes of unsweetened dark chocolate. Very light on the bitterness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
