Light metallic aroma. Nice golden yellow in the glass with white foam. Medium body and high in carbon. Light malty taste with a hint of metal. Light bitterness in the aftertaste that lasts somewhat. Overall a nice beer.

blueruin (191) - - OCT 25, 2017

Cavie (4808) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2017
Bottle. Earthy aroma, malt, grain, mineral notes. Light orange color. Earthy hop flavor. Butter comes out as it warms. Minerally and malty.

john44 (3402) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2017
Bottle. (Brief tasting notes and rating from old records) - Overwhelmingly bitter, sour, tart, hoppy ale with bitter dry finish. Didn’t like it. (Backlog)

higgsbison (268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 25, 2017
Pours light copper color. Thin body. Malty with notes of burnt toast and pepper. Floral hops give a somewhat astringent bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home served cellar cool. A very nice, easy drinking bitter that ticked all of the boxes: malt, hops and a low carbonation. I was really surprised by this and I will return.

degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 25, 2017
Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a thin, white head that disappears quickly. Nose is cherry, berry, toast, and smoke; quite light. On the tongue, it’s caramel, cherry, stone fruit, and smoke; there’s a faint ashy bitterness underneath, and a bit of wheat toast. Not much on the finish; it’s a little hollow. Good enough, but lacking in gravitas.

cattaneopapa (422) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 14, 2017
Pours a deep golden colour with a minimal head. Aromas of honey, bread, basement aromas and some floral notes. Taste has a malty backbone with a well balanced hoppy finish. Not bad but it’s not my cup tea.

thejackpacker (644) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2017 Draught at the Jerusalem Tavern. An incredibly easy drinking cask ale that has superb palate. It could go the distance on any drinking occassion as it is quite watery which some may not lke. 4/5 Bottle at home, bought from Sainsburys. A decent, gluggable ale that tasted a lot more creamy than watery as it did last. Slight lager finish this time. 3.5/5./ Re-rated. This rating is for an ale called 'English Pale Ale' had at the Jerusalem Tavern which has redirected me to this beer. If that is not accurate, the previous rating was 3.4. This beer shuold have 3.
