Light brown with a filmy head. A light flowery aroma, a little soapy in the taste.

I drank this beer from 500 ml bottle, a nice bottle. It is light in alcohol (4.1) but has a great aroma a bit toasted and grassy, very bitter. The body is medium - full, fizzy carbonation but not too much of it.

From the bottle, pours a clear light amber with a light tan head. The smell is mineral, toasted malt, grass. The taste is toasted malt, mineral, bitter and dry. Light+ in body with average carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a thin off white head. Aroma of toasted, bready malts, some caramel, slight fruit, a little toffee and subtle spicy hops. Taste of bready malts, caramel, some fruit, a little tea, a hint of orange, maybe grapefruit and slight spicy, herbal hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, spicy, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. A surprisingly good bitter. Lots of hops and a pleasant malt base. Good.

Bottle. Orangey Amber in colour. Very Hoppy; intense earthy resinous hops; quite distinct hoppy bitterness throughout. Fruity; bitter citrus-lemon & grapefruit. Malt base; buttery caramel. Full flavoured. Dominated by intense bitter hops. Dry throughout; lingering very dry finish.. (2010-06)

Light amber coloured beer with off-white head. Aroma off medium sweet malt. Taste caramel malt and a bit spicy.

MelvinKalksma (1506) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2016

Aroma:
Slight aroma of malts, caramel, bread and tea.

Appearance:
Clear/hazy amber/red beer with a slight/medium white/off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts slightly/medium sweet with malts and caramel; ends slightly dry with bread and tea.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. Did not really want to say it is balanced, but figured that’s because there is almost nothing to balance. Watery, sweet and dry; that’s it.

Handpull cask at the Lattice House, King’s Lynn. Tawny brown, clear with little head but a fair bit of foamy lacing. Tannic British hop to the fore with hints of funk and leather. Taste is mostly bitter and sour, very dry and again lots of tannins taking the lead. Far from exciting but certainly a flag bearer for the classic British bitter.

3.3
Swaroga (2213) - Warszawa, POLAND - AUG 5, 2016
Juicy malts, creamy texture, light carbobation, bread skin, black tea, juicy malts, noble, moderatly strong bitterness. Good thirst quencher.

Pours clear copper color with small, but lasting white head. Smell of hops, malts, slight caramel, a bit honey. Medium body with soft carbonation and oily texture. Taste is bitter and slightly herbal. Aroma of malts, caramel, hops, herbs and spices. Grassy with a touch of honey. Long, bitter finish. Overall, nice one. Refreshing and tasty.
