Opaque ruby red or almost brown, no head on top. Sweet caramel malts in aroma. Taste is more malt forward, caramel and a little chocolate. Sweet palate and soft carbonation. Fruity notes and some hops in the finish. The low carbonation is probably part of the style, but here I´d like more. Otherwise good enough to take a bottle or two.

Thanks to bobinlondon for the bottle! Pours a ruby red color with a tan head. The smell is toasted malt, caramel and fruit. The taste is rich toasted malt, chocolate, caramel with some fruit then a dry ending. Light+ in body with average carbonation. Nothing note worthy but drinkable.

Bardzo ładna butelka. Kolor ciemnej herbaty. Piana szybko znika. Zapach słód, karmel i chleb. Smak wytrawny, czuć słód, chleb palony. Bez rewelacji, ale butelka fajna.

Good quality bitter. Looks beautiful in the glass. Slightly fruity, not overly bitter.

Bottle at home. Clear amber body with a small white head. Lots of caramel, malty. Thin body, soft carbonation. Hmm boring.

martpez (206) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2017
Strong roasted notes finished with lightly spiced dry hops. A slight metallic tinge.. thats unfortunate. Lovely rich colour and roasted aroma, not to mentione the beautiful bottles, makes a beer that tastes flat compared to its presentation. Its still by no means bad, but I find st peters makes beers that taste far too clean for my owm personal preferences.

A British, unfiltered, copper Red Ale with extremely low head and with rye and barley malt. Aroma is tar, light smoke, malt, bisquit, prune. Taste is bitter and light sweet. 50 cl bottle @ MENY, Odense SV.

Rozemalt (19) - Groningen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 16, 2017
Bottle 50cl, ruikt en smaakt naar noten en een vleugje karamel, mooie roodbruine kleur, weinig nasmaak, aangename verrassing in de mond. Drink ik zeker nog een keer.

Bottle. Pours a clear ruby brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of caramel, red fruits, some bready malt, a little cherry and slight spicy hops. Taste of caramel, red fruits, some bready malts, a little raisin and subtle spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, bittersweet, fruity bitterness in the finish. Nice fruity aroma with follows on into the taste. A little sweet but a subtle spicy, fruit bitterness. Decent.
