Cask conditioned at The Jerusalem Tavern, Farringdon, London. Gold with white head. Easy drinking, light, thinnish beer, there is a leafy, grassy hop character then a simple, bready malt and fruity yeast note. It’s okay.

Out of a big honkin’ bubba. Brown-copper with a nice white head. Has a lot of characteristics of a British barleywine. Fruit and spice. Solid body. Not sure what’s summery about it, but it’s a nice beer.

Beese (2733) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2014
Bottle from the St Peter’s brewery. Poured a clear, deep golden colour with a thin, but dense white head. Aroma of Seville oranges, spiced rum and floral hops. Sweet, fruity initial flavours with some gooseberry, golden syrup and cereal. Finish was marmalade, honeycomb and astringently bitter resin.
