Bottle. Golden in colour. Malty; malted wheat, buttery caramel. Hoppy; grassy hops. Fruity, hint of citrus. Good malt/hop balance. Fairly bitter buttery malty with marked hops. Dry slightly salty finish. OK. Drinkable. (2010-06)

imdownthepub (15160) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2015
Bottled, 500ml from Tesco in Banbury. Gold with white head. I would struggle to pick this out as a wheat beer, it is fairly sweet and cony in character, there is a metallic hint. Pretty boring unfortunately.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelgoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, leicht hefig, hopfig. Geschmack hopfig malzig, fruchtig, leicht hefig.

2.3
foxo82 (924) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2014
Bottle. Dark amber. Despite the name this is more a traditional bitter in taste - mildly bitter smoke malt, not much duration. Lacking sweetness or much of interest.

pivnizub (10768) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 1, 2013
Bottle: Golden to deep golden with a small and persistent creamy off-white head, mineralic-grainy - maybe a bit wheaty, too - nose with a certain fruity touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, sourish traces barely detectable, nearly medium bodied; lingering fruity-malty finish, some subdued hops detectable. All in all quite well drinkable…

2.8
Idiosynkrasie (7858) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 2, 2013
500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Flat grainy aroma with a touch of gooseberry, strawberry, straw. Taste is monotonously strawy, grainy and minimally sweet fruity. Boring.
