SpringsLicker (3615) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 8, 2004
A hazy honey colored beer that has a nice lace and substantial head. Aroma and palate are fruity and typical of a good Belgian. I preferred the dark however. Both are good beers.

YourDarkLord (1800) - Urbana, Illinois, USA - DEC 31, 2003
Golden amder with ample white head. Good lacing. Aroma has hints of sweetness. Smooth feel to the mouth and a pleasant, citrus tint to the taste. Very good.

DougShoemaker (3147) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2003
Aroma of yeast, citrus and homemade bread. Golden amber, pours a nice white head. Taste is lemon, yeast and again that fine breadiness. Lovely mouthfeel, medium bodied, dry finish. Wow!

3.8
CapFlu (5126) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2003
(500ml bottle) Sampled as the Grand Cru version at Smokeless Joe's in Toronto. Pours a medium, white head and a orange-copper body. Nose of vanilla, malt and slight whiskey. The 7.6% abv doesn't show through in the taste. Very Good!

Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2003
Golden bronze colour. Aroma is toasty, slightly peachy, with additional notes of pear and a light spiciness. The palate is juicy in its maltiness. A little bit of alcohol shows, as well as a lively pear & apricot ester character.

Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - DEC 5, 2003
Yellow cloudy colour. Taste of yeast and hop. An interisting beer but not amazing.

21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 30, 2003
A very nice golden cloudy color, with a sick white head that isn't huge, yet stays around the entire time. Has a serious traditional belgian aroma to it, acid and hay. Has a thick leather belt body to it. Very nice, very refreshing.

Hildigöltur (5104) - Křbenhavn, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2003
Hazy golden coloured. Weak aroma. Yeasty. Thin and boring flavour. Very one-dimensional.

jfm (1724) - Holbćk, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2003
Golden colored with a fluffy white head. The taste is slightly malty with notes of spices and fruits. Finishes kind of fast.

3.2
BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - NOV 17, 2003
(I wish I'd got that bottle in the photograph). Pale clouded orangey amber hue, some floaties, well carbonated and good head formation. Soft malty aroma with tropical and citrus fruits. Light flavored on the palate, sweet orangey fruits, well spiced, a little peppery. Pretty short in the finish.
