Hazy golden color. Light malt nose, and wood. Much better taste, with some malt, light sweetness, sharp bitterness. Unfortunately a bit metallic. A long palate is the only interesting feature. Not well mixed flavors. saxo (19357) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2010
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, malt, hops and fruits. harrisoni (19189) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2008
Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest 08. Gold colour with floating sea monkeys. Its a Belgian golden ale. Some pear drop fruit and Belgian yeast on aroma. Fine. Bit of spice/heat. Peach/tangerine finish. Oakes (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2003
Golden bronze colour. Aroma is toasty, slightly peachy, with additional notes of pear and a light spiciness. The palate is juicy in its maltiness. A little bit of alcohol shows, as well as a lively pear & apricot ester character. TBone (18106) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 13, 2008

Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Grassy and fruity (pear, mango) nose. Dry mouthfeel. A bit fruity (mango, peach), some grassy hops. Simple. But bottle is pretty.
Bottle, 50cl ceramic. As St. Sebastiaan Grand Cru. Microfloaties in this one, else it’s clear. The color is golden and it’s topped by a dense, off-white head. It’s sweet, sugary and fruity on the nose, as expected, with some faint spices and some apricot. The flavor is sweet and fruity with some warming alcohol. Some bitterness, but not enough. Full-bodied and slightly over carbonated. Fruity, sweet finish. Overall, too sweet but decent. 101126 FatPhil (16953) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 14, 2015

Super fruity aroma, tons of esters. Alas just a hint of tomato once or twice. Pale orange, small head. Lovely perfumey belgian ale taste, pale malts, pleasant herbal light hops. Quite simple, but very pleasant belgian.
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Hazy almost opaque orangy color, medium sized white head. Smell malts, some fruityness, lightly sweet. Taste lightly malts, a slight fruityness, a bit more bitter in the flavor. Not bad. Dedollewaitor (16359) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2009
50cl ceramic bottle @ Germany. Pours unclear golden with a small creamy off white head. Nose is sweet of yeast, brett and orange peel - actually reminds me of Orval :-) Flavor is fruit, orange and warming ´sweet alcohol. As it gets warmer the orval bretty nose disappears and it becomes more like a mead. Hmmh. Ok tasty. Ferris (16303) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 24, 2013
Bottle - Vintage 2011 - Apple, yeast, orange, grains and bread. Clear gold with a thick white head. Honey, apple, grains and light orange. I get a very mild bitterness in the finish, but the sweetness overpowers. The thick mouth feel makes this a slow going beer. I think this would pair well with a desert or fruit, much in the way of an Ice Wine.
As this warms, it is starting to taste more like a light quad. Fruits stand out more, and although apple still prevails it is still pretty good.
