COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber beer (8 % alc. / vol.) refermented in the bottle. A speciality beer brewed over lees in winter using the first malt and hops from the last harvest. Roasted malts give it its characteristic amber hue. Obtained by top fermentation, the "Biere Nouvelle" is characterised by fruity flavours and a good bite. Biere Nouvelle must be served with care (leaving behind the fine yeast sediment) at about 10°C. Available from February while stocks last in 750 ml bottles corked and stamped

Straw colored brew. Medium/light body. Good flavor. Fruity nose with peaches and apricots coming out. Malty with a fruity character. Yeasty and subtley spicy.

Senap (739) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2015
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2015 Från år 2015. Lättsam och drickvänlig i linje med klassen. Ska jag säga något kritiskt så slår alkoholen igenom lite för mycket inledningsvis.

mabjork (692) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 8, 2006
Hazy light brown with minor white head. It has an earthy scent, something you can find in the flavour as wel, reminds me of spoiled apples with a sweet after taste.

craftbeersweden (675) - SWEDEN - JUL 14, 2014
Clear golden color with a lot of sparkling bubbles seaking the sky. Three finger high, white, foamy head that leaves lacing on the glass. Nose: belgian ale, yeast, honey, sugar, green apples, pears, lemon and a bit of orange. Taste: Complex taste of marzipan, citrus, lemon curd, orange, sweet caramel malt, pears and banana. Medium body with high carbonation, almoust like Champagne. Soft texture. Feels luxury and classic! I like this!

Golden color, large beige head. Crisp aromas of citrus, tropical fruits, yeast and some alcohol. Fresh taste of citrus, floral hops, bananas and slight alcohol. Solid.

You can certainly tell that this beer was made ihn France because the aroma and flavor is reminescent of a red wine that is very rich in flavor. I problalbly make this rating because this is the first sampling of this style.

My 705 has the 3 Monts G.R. Label? Huge chunky white head over golden, bubbly ale. The nose is yeasty and a hint of malt. The taste is complex for a golden, but I wish I could try side-by-side w/ reg. 3 Monts.... the tastes are too similar. Malty and tounge-numbing. Its over me, but maybe stale cookies? Fuk it, worth buying again @ like $6-7, Greens.

french tickler (649) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 24, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2008 Cloudy golden poor with a THICK/sticky foamy off-white head. Aromas of pepper, very hoppy, sour dough bread, avocados and a slight touch of mango.... Large alcohol presence. Good balance of sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a crisp dry finish. Added flavors of orange zest, coriander...

Metalhead (644) - Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2005
orangey deep honey color with a large pillowy head. I could smell this from a couple feet away when first opened. Aroma is sweet like a combo of honey, mild malt, grains, yeast, hints of pound cake. Slightly dry finish. Left the lips a tad sticky. This bottle was 2 yrs old. Paid $8. Would not buy all the time but nice to have a couple stashed away.
