For what this is, its really not that bad. Id take this over a Bud or Miller any day. First the good. Pours a pretty deep golden with a large frothy head that manages some slight lacing even at a 9.9% ABV. Doesnt burn a lot going down and is sort of smooth in its twisted Im a chuggable airline fuel way. Now the bad. Both aroma and flavor suffer from a very cidery quality. In fact, if you like hard cider, you wont hate this. Unfortunately, I cant stand hard cider. Finishes with a fairly clean grain and apple wash. Luckily, theres little aftertaste. Very dry as well. Honestly, you could do a lot worse. Drink this at your next frat party, or any time you hear a DMX jam and you might sprout a bigger Johnson, or at least think you did.

This is pretty premium stuff for a ten percenter. It is still really bad but once youve tried a lot of this sort of thing, you learn to appreciate someone who does it less wrong. Its got a sort of Budweiser-type apple fruitiness to it, maybe a touch of acetone which isnt my favorite thing but is acceptable in the style. Its pretty dry for its strength and only burns a little bit going down. Bitterness is earthy rather than metallic so thats a plus as well. This stuff is designed for a singular purpose and it does that well.

710ml can. Lightly hazy pour. Aroma is suprisingly malty, some fruits, green apple acetone, flavor is fairly earthy. Not terrible for an hg.

Bottle shared at Cotts Convention ii, thanks to MacBoots, Richie and Sraky for this premium American golde, 05/03/16. Clear golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light citric notes, caramel, grain, cane sugar. Taste comprises grain, straw, sweet, toasted malt, booze. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Decent Licker Ticker.

24oz bottle share at Cotteridge II as Stack 101 High Gravity Smooth Lager, 9.9%. Many thanks to Macboost and the West Mild-lands crew for another malt liquor. Clear yellow, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is vegetal, leaves, lightly sweet. Body is smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is light malt, corny, dry, booze. Definitely meant for boosting, not appreciating. (1.8)

Mild warm piss flavor, like a cheap cognac with carbonation added. Overall Id rather drink my own urine if it got my drunk

24oz can from the shadiest indie gas station in town, $1.59. Pour: none (drinking out of the can, of course). Appearance: unknown (see above). Taste: sweet, metallic corn urine. Actually pretty mild for being a strong malt liquor. Hadnt seen this before so I had to try it. Rather drinkable compared to competitors like Steel Reserve, Earthquake and Camo. Not good, but if you are broke and want to get drunk, Stack 101 High Gravity Smooth Lager is, well, a smooth high gravity lager, I suppose.

Can big thanks to MacBoost, Rich & Sarky at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear pale yellow - gold with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is grainy, paper, creamy, tapioca and raw alcohol. The taste is crisp, raw alcohol upfront, corn, straw, tangy apple, pear and cereal with a dry, boosty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy action. Pretty rough and hot. Poor.
