Door, Helsinki (backlog). Amber colour with a mediumsized white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is strong on fruits and nectar and also has some sweet malts to it. Flavour is fruity, nectary, some wooden and mild sweet malty notes. Nice mellow fruity bitterness to it as well.
Tap (Black Door, Helsinki)TBone (17429) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 1, 2014
Rich red, tiny head. Sweet and fruity aroma. Bready and caramelly, a touch worty in the taste. Quite a light palate. Not quite watery, but a bit thin. Crisp carbonation. Simple, but pleasing and easy to drink. Not getting 6.2% at all.

Amber, clear. A quickly fading citrus, slight grapefruity nose with musky foresty pines backing. Meduim bodied, dry, bitter with a clean finish. Lots of foresty pines, earthyness, but feels a bit hard, flat biscuity in flavour. Actually, it feels very familiar from their other brews. Nice brew, good flavours. But a bit lifeless.
(Keg at Black Door, 20131222) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, fruitiness and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, fruitiness, pine, sweetness and bitterness. Afteraste was fruity, hoppy and bitter. A tasty and easily drinkable American Pale Ale.
