330ml Bottle - Hazy copper/amber with a foamy head. Tea, malt and a hint of dried apricot in the aroma. Grainy, malty and slightly fruity taste with moderate bitterness and notes of dried fruit and caramel. I was expecting a bit more. Svesse (8982) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - NOV 30, 2012
(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Amber colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, orange peel, rye bread and a touch of caramel. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of rye bread, apricots, a touch of caramel and a spicy, slightly citric bitterness that grows over time. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Quite nice and tasty. VastActiv (7752) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 20, 2014

Caramel malt and mild alcohol in aroma.
Caramel malt, toffee, alcohol, some bitterness and some berries in flavour. Quite mild for an Imperial Pilsner.

Spicy, but also cheesy aroma, not really what I wanted. Sticky in the mouth. A bit plasticky with the bocky malts (why is this not a bock?). Nothing special, not a disaster either, once you’re past the aroma. Made me think back to the old old days of Kari Likovuori with longing for some of those old strong Stadin brews :-(

6 More of an ESL than a bock this time, but then again, most ESLs call themselves bocks, so the distinction isn’t really worth making. Definitely some alcohol in that, alas.
3 Bold gold, very brief fizzy head.
7- Wonderfully fruity retronasals, wow. Good bocky malts, but less sweet and stodgy than a typical bock. Slight nettles from hops.
4- Crisp palate, decent carbonation. Touch of marmite yeastiness in the finish, some sweetish fruitiness too, and a good bite of bitter hops.
13 Quite big, but not very clever beer; but in the style a nice example. Really appreciated 4 extra months of attenutation. However, that’s the Stadin way - it goes out the door insufficiently conditioned, and you have to have patience if you want the best from the beer. Timo, the brewer, forgive me for my earlier impatient comment. However, this isn’t back to the level of the greats.
Bottle @chriso. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty grainy hoppy finish. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 7, 2011
