3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2014 Tap @ Brygga Streetbar
Murky orange beer with little white head. Aroma is a lot like apricot jam with some yeast. Taste has apricot, orange, malts, yeast and alcohol. Finish is short with a bite of bitterness leaving a malty aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thicker than medium with medium strong carbonation. A pretty nice fruity ale but not very Belgian, not reminiscent of a tripel.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
(Keg at William K Kurvi, 20140129) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had orange juice, spices, Belgian style yeast and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, wort, yeast, orange juice and low bitterness. Aftertaste had orange juice, malts and bitterness. The aroma was almost there but the taste was something very weird.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at Black Door, Helsinki, as Stadin Tripel 8 %. Pours hazy orange in color with a small head. Sweet fruity and light yeasty notes and wet cellar notes at first in aroma.
Sweet tropical bread in taste, some spicy yeastyness in taste. Bittersweet fruity finish. Felt a bit unbalanced and too yeasty at first but got better towards the end though.

Hazy orange color, small white head. Rubbery-fruity aroma, not very pleasant. Medium-bodied. Alcoholic, mango juice, apricot ... juice concentrate and glue. Very messy. Perhaps gets better over the time.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught @ Black Door
Aroma is odd and sweet with apricot and juicy berry tones. Also some baking stuff. Flavour is messy with yeasty notes, berries, some apricot and juice. Minerals in the finish. Weird but not completely hopeless; at least this hides the ABV rather well, feels even a little watery.
