Draught at the brauhaus
Cloudy dark amber color, with chestnut hue; creamy head. Strangely the aroma is pungent, of alcohol and cleaning product, chemicals. Strong body, supported by a quite sweet mouthfeel; there is some rather simple caramel flavor, and unfortunately again the same impression of chemicals and alcohol; the bitterness is on the low side. Without the chemical flaw, it would be a sweetish, soft and drinkable Bock.
I asked the waitress and she said that the beer is supposed to be like this; and this is not good!
