Psytron (2446) - Turku, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2011
Dark brown with white head. Starts out with a heavy portery aroma, then gets watered down and the end is sweet and caramely. Somehow still artificial.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2011 Kaataa mustaa vaalean ruskealla vaahdolla.

esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - APR 9, 2011
Draught. Black beer, thin but velvety head. Nice aroma, thick maltiness with syrupy notes. Dark fruitiness, maybe plums. Some licorice. Chocolatey finish with light bitterness and nice roastedness. Sturdy body and velvety body. Good stuff.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2011
It’s black with a huge, light-brown, creamy and lasting head. The aroma is mild/light with notes of roasted malt, light smoke, dark, preserved fruits and licorice. The mouth-feel is full. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of roasted malt, licorice, light smoke, dark preserved fruits, whipped cream and the finish is slightly dry – a nice one.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2017 500ml bottle (VikingLine XPRS) as "Pig and Rooster Baltic Porter" (6:5:7:4:15=3.7)
6 Deeply roasted mashy aroma, some sharp burnt fruity sour bite (but not acidic sourness per se) like old bottle conditioned guinness.
5 Black, and a huge tan head, which settles to a ring.
7 Huge roasty taste. Anna says ashy, bit I think it’s just nicely burnt and short of ashy. 4 Full palate, crisp carbonation. Finish very roasty and burnt, some woodiness too. Late finish has just a gentle bitterness.
15 Covers the 7% very well, I could stick pint after pint of this down me. Really burnt, but in no way astringent. Great baltic stout, all it needs is some more aromatic hops, and it would rock.
Rerate: 330ml bottle - thanks Marduk and tiong (6:4:7:4:13=3.4)
Roasty, rubbery, cocoa powder. Black, small tan head. Fullish palate, smooth, gentle carbonation. Full roasty taste. Nice bitter hopping, leaves a tanniny tingle on my tongue. No sign of 7%, though. Nice baltic porter.
