Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, bread, and a bit of liqurice, leading to a dry lightly roasted finish. Lacks a bit to be a Baltic Porter. madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2012

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Comes as "Stallhagen Winter Porter". Pours a clear deep brown with a warm tint of red and a smallish light brown head. Toffeeish aroma, some cocoa powder and sweet vanilla. Solid body, the roast now comes through more, rather burned ashy malts, quite rough with some alcohol presence - as most often in Baltic Porters. Malty bitter finish. 221112 gnoff (10707) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - NOV 15, 2012

50 cl bottle at the beer bar inside NK Saluhall, lowest level of the NK building in Stockholm. Very nice place. Sampled on November 14, 2012.
Clear dark brown color, tan head. Licorice, malt, grainy scent. Sweet, smoke, malty, sirup taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
50 cl bottle at The Bishop’s Arms, Järntorget, Göteborg, on August 31, 2013.
Very dark red to black color, brown head. Malty, salty scent. Malty, salty, mineral taste. Salty, metallic aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Some smoke in the nose as well.
Draught. Aroma pretty heavy with roasted malt, a lot of burnt notes. Tastes kinda harsh with primitive flavors. A bit of tar too. Nice.
