COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

New keg. Clear ruby color, good creamy beige head. Caramel and berries in the nose, hints of barnyard. Medium-bodied. Caramel, hints of metal, wild strawberry, perhaps hints of toasted malts. Light vegetably, yeasty notes. Sweetish. Clean, but too safe.

FatPhil (15967) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 17, 2012
Tap (Kitty’s, Helsinki)
6 Simply rustic earty brown ale.
4 Rich red, small keggy beige head.
6 Simple sweetish light malts, almost milky. Touch of sweet walnutty huskiness. Almost a spoilt milk aspect later, but not acidic in any way. At worst, it’s a little boring, but this would be a good intro beer to those not familiar with anything apart from dull crap.
3 Simple smooth milky palate, but aggressive carbonation. Finish quite dry and with barky bitterness - UK hops, I’d bet.
12 Needs swirling to defise the bubbles. Simple easy quaffer, a bit dead, but you could session it. Therefore no sign of 5.5% - so well done on that point.

On tap at Pubologi, Stockholm, March 2012. Brownish with a small tan head. The aroma was sweet with chocolate, nuts and toffee. The same in the taste, also malt and some notes of "milk". Drinkable but not that interesting.
