Bottled. A deep red beer with a small but dense brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of chocolate as well as a light note of roasted malt, lending it a slight acidity. The aroma is sweet malt with notes of roasted malt, lots of chocolate, and light notes of capuchino. It has a nice body. More like a stout than a dunkles. anders37 (26845) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 25, 2012

Re-rated during SOPP in June 2006 (draught) and April 2007 from bottle. Very dark brown colour iwth huge beigeish brown head. Aroma is smoke and lots of roasted malts. Flavour is lots of smoke and roast with some weak hints of caramel. The roast stays for long in the aftertaste. Not sure if it’s a new recipe, or if the "later" ratings just have aged properly, since it was a brand new beer in October 2005 (first ratings, it used to be the beer of the month on Hyvät Olutravintolat -"chain"). Not it’s turned out to a really nice dark beer. 7 4 7 3 14.
Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, creamy head. Sweet and mildly roasty with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Some sugary coffee. Finishes with low bitterness. Quite nice on the surface, but there seem to nothing underneath. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 14, 2008
(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours a very dark brown - almost black - with a discreet tint of red and a light brown head. Lightly burned malt finish. Medium body with sweetish hard roasted malt and some vanilla accents. Lightly malt bitter finish. Lovely beer like quite a few from Stallhagen, so it doesn’t matter much that they simply cannot brew to style.
Interessnates Dunkles.

Opaque black, mostly vanishing tanned head. Lemony hoppy nose. Crisp carbonation, lemony, sweetish. Mostly sweet aftertaste. Easy to drink dunkel, a bit too sweet and carbonated.
