Scant head id beige, thick and disappears fast. Leaves tiny lacing. Color is very dark reddish-brown, practically black. Aromas are sweet roasted malts, a bit chokolate. Smooth roasty malty flavors. A bit rye-bread and dry hops in the end but flavors disappears quite soon. Palate is smooth, medium-bodied. baggio (337) - norrtälje, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2008
Apperance: Verk dark brown/black with a light, huge, head that vanishes a bit too quickly for my liking.
Aroma: Roasted malt, Chocolate, Caramel.
Flavor: Chocolate, Smoke, Roasted Malts, Bitter Coffee.
Palate: Very balanced and mild with plenty of carbonation. Liquid feels a bit thin.
A very genuine and drinkable Dunkles from Ålands Bryggeri. Could use a bit more body but all in all a nice beer.

Clear dark to black color, small tan head. Head turns brown with swirling. Roasted, chocolate, malty grainy scent. Roasted, metallic, malty taste. Roasted aftertaste. A bit moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Bottle. Color reminds me of mämmi. Nose has some coffee and roasted malty notes Flavor is liquorice and chocolate with some sweetness. Finishes quite dry and malty, abit too hard carbonation thought.
