2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
First review in what feels like forever, after a bout of the stomach flu followed by a three week long head cold I’m good to go again. Golden with elements of amber in the body complete with a short lived white cap. Very mild aroma, soft aroma, hints of apple, musty bread. So very smelless!!! Taste is better and very domestically average. Feels fizzy, like swallowing a thousand bee’s. Big bread, sweet musty apple, almost eastern European tasting but it doesn’t get there. Maybe lemon but really it a bready penny. THE END
330ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet, mild aroma of caramel malt and grain. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, vegetal and grain with a mildly bitter, metallic finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Yikes! Pours an amber color. Bit of a malty aroma. Taste is all off. Kind of malty but with a weird sweetness to it. Not a fan bdleedahl (478) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - APR 2, 2017
This one is at least cleanly brewed and not overhopped. However the malt bill is heavily lacking. Needs so much more body. brewhouse BillKismet (4090) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 28, 2016
Bronzed-gold appearance, topped by an airy froth head. Light grain in the aroma and very crisp. Watery body, though flavored by a pleasantly sweet graininess. Despite the name, this seems like more of a blonde ale. adamnowek (2992) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUL 31, 2016
Chemical maltiness. Dark amber colour. Weird sweetness. Bad enough for me to fake caring enough to write a long enough review.

It was ok. Good colour butte flavour was milder the I expected it to be. Brought the can from BC and had at clear lake. dfinney23 (3394) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2015
It’s amber. A little sweet. Some malt. I’m pretty sure I saw a picture of this in the dictionary under "bland". ljthiessen (1391) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - SEP 28, 2015
Can. Cloudy amber pour, not much head. Sweet and malty, a touch metallic, unremarkable. Don't really catch what's Belgian about it. This is about as mediocre as it gets. tlind2 (1755) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 25, 2015

, Granville Island. Deep golden color, off-white head. Malty aroma. Fairly sweet, malty flavor with nutty notes. Medium body, medium carbonation. Oh well.
Aroma is roasted fairly rich caramel malts, honey and straw. Taste is sweet malts and honey. Very pale bitterness. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.
