Caramel and toasty malts in the light sweet aroma. Clear amber body roped by a decent and lasting off white head that leaves some lace. Moderate bitterness offers the caramel and nutty malt qualities. Medium body with moderate carbonation. I don’t know if I’d consider anything to be Belgian-style about this beer but it is fairly drinkable. Sampled on tap at the Canucks game at Rogers Arena in Jan-12.
Bottle - Light woody and spicy hops with a malt backbone. Clearish copper with a decent white head. Caramel and light spicy hop note. Decent. cmacklin (1376) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 20, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet, mild aroma of caramel malt and grain. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, vegetal and grain with a mildly bitter, metallic finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Yikes! Pours an amber color. Bit of a malty aroma. Taste is all off. Kind of malty but with a weird sweetness to it. Not a fan bdleedahl (633) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - APR 2, 2017
This one is at least cleanly brewed and not overhopped. However the malt bill is heavily lacking. Needs so much more body. brewhouse BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 28, 2016
Bronzed-gold appearance, topped by an airy froth head. Light grain in the aroma and very crisp. Watery body, though flavored by a pleasantly sweet graininess. Despite the name, this seems like more of a blonde ale.

Chemical maltiness. Dark amber colour. Weird sweetness. Bad enough for me to fake caring enough to write a long enough review. sawyerpc15 (195) - Bowser, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 19, 2016
It was ok. Good colour butte flavour was milder the I expected it to be. Brought the can from BC and had at clear lake. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2015
It’s amber. A little sweet. Some malt. I’m pretty sure I saw a picture of this in the dictionary under "bland". ljthiessen (1510) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - SEP 28, 2015
Can. Cloudy amber pour, not much head. Sweet and malty, a touch metallic, unremarkable. Don't really catch what's Belgian about it. This is about as mediocre as it gets. tlind2 (1820) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 25, 2015
, Granville Island. Deep golden color, off-white head. Malty aroma. Fairly sweet, malty flavor with nutty notes. Medium body, medium carbonation. Oh well.
