Tried at the three horseshoes waddington. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are citrusy fruit. Good golden beer.

Cask @ Saxon Crown, Corby. Clear blonde coloured ale with a thin head. Well-balanced session ale with malts most evident in its nose and a more hoppy taste.

Cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Mid-gold with a bit of white head. Citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Bittersweet taste with a bit of astringency in the finish. Light body. Very simple but very good. A session able golden that you wouldn’t mind drinking multiple pints.

Cask, gravity at the Bricklayers at Straw Bear Festival, Whittlesey, nr Peterborough Saturday 11th January 2014 I had this written down as Elgoods Comet as the cask gravity list/range in this pub were all listed as Elgoods including one called comet but they did appear to have one on the bar called Star Comet and this one was definately called comet furthermore the description on the bar appears to be very similar to this so here is where this rating is going unless I find out that there is an Elgoods Comet. Golden with a slight haze. There is a buzzy hoppiness going on but they leave a little hedgerow and light citrus flurry. Good. Touch of sulphour on nose. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Cask conditioned at Peterborough Beer Fest ’13. Gold with white head. For the ABV, this is quite a full beer, nicely hoppy and fresh, pretty dry with a malty biscuit note. Fresh leafy hops. Very pleasant.

Cask conditioned handpump Dukes Arms Woodford 25/06/13. A slightly hazy orangey gold coloured beer with a white head and lace. A zesty hoppy nose. Bigger citrus flavours in the mouth. A nice balance with the malt. Pretty decent.
