Auburn with a light head. Light chocolate and malt in the nose. Body is roasty with a light malty finish. Very straightforward. Radek Kliber (7368) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JAN 21, 2003
Clear dark brown, average head. Fairly light on aroma, hard to find anything great in it. Same story with flavours, very light for dunkel. If you try hard you might see that they were going in the right direction but got lost somewhere on the way... motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 7, 2002
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2012 it sure is black. it must be the artificial colous they use. this is hard to forgive but it is a complex beer. brazil nuts and stewed plums come through. very full and seems stronger than 5.5. i’m surprised more people out there haven’t tried this one thebaron99 (110) - Royston Park SA, AUSTRALIA - SEP 21, 2002
Clean nose of dust, grass and malt. Long lasting fluffy head leaves a nice filigree behind itself. Slightly sweet with strong toffee and mollasses tones that meld beautifully. Clean mouthfeel and slightly astringent and dryon the last palate. Not as unique as the Red Drak (dragon), but senbloodysational!! I said it B4 and I’ll say it again, Get it up yer....
