Dark brown colour with beige head.
Roasted aroma and roasted and coffee flavour. Coffee flavour was not bad although I do not like coffee. Quite enjoyable dark lager.

Bottle @ BA: Well rounded and full bodied, within style. Light smokey and soft malt base. Nice. Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - NOV 27, 2008
A clear dark amber colored beer, with a thick beige head. The aroma of caramel mout, a little roasted and some fruits. The taste is caramel sweet with some bitter hops and some fruits. The aftertaste is bittersweet, with a dry finish. estpiwo (1319) - ESTONIA - OCT 22, 2008
Draught, twice in Bratislava. One time in pub Bastion and second time in other pub. In bastion beer was far better.
Creamy head, dark brown color. Fruity aroma, malty tones. Flavor is more malty at the beginning, but finish is hoppy. Great!

Draught. Dark ruby brown colour with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt. The flavour is also sweet, roasted and malty with low bitterness. Medium bodied and oily texture. A bit thin but still a quite good beer. Smaskifa (136) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 10, 2008
0,33 bottle, poured in a plastic glass at the Øya-festival Oslo, Norway. My second try at this one. The first time I ordered it the incompetent bartender actually gave me a Staropramen lager, fairly nice too, but not what I asked for. Anyway. Medium beige creamy head, stays as a wee lid all the way to the bottom. Dark golden burnt umber colour. Fruity aroma of malt and hops, hint of apple. Lovely creamy palate, medium carbonation. Tastes of apple, gentle hint of malt and hoppy bitterness. Nice hoppy finish. Impressive beer, a fine surprise at a music festival. jimhilt (2610) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 26, 2008
Pours a one finger cream head that fades quickly, leaving some lace. Clear deep mahogany color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Coffee bean nose. Flavor is roasted coffee some sweetness. 330ml bottle €5.80 Schönes Fräulein Restaurant Helsinki, Finland. From my notes - 7/8/2008. esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - JUL 22, 2008
Bottled. Pours oily and dark. Medium head is light beige and the beer itself is very dark brown with shades of amber. Malty aroma has dark bread, raisins and some hops. Finish is medium roasted with a hint of coffee beans. Aroma is sweet malty but turns to medium bitterness and some sourness of coffee beans in the finish. Thin and oily texture with a medium body and quite lively carbonation. ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 4, 2008
Finoman érezni benne a pörkölt maláta ízeit és karamellizált cukros zamatot is,de még sem túl édes és a végén kicsit ott a komló keserűje is.Csapolva az igazi!
