A light dark beer which wont blow your head off (4.4.% vol)
If you are an aficionado of Bok or Hungarian Bak beers this may be a little to light for you. But a good beer nonetheless and very drinkable, not too sweet, good malty, slightly nutty taste. Only 199Ft or £0.45 per half liter bottle at Auchan in Budapest... Good choice to give to friends. Ascelja (1484) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 5, 2015
#200 Oh, my God...Rotin (1491) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 4, 2015
Bottle 0,5l from common Czech market. Reddish clear body, small white head. Aroma of nuts and dark malts, dark fruits, very low intensity. Terrible watery taste of sweetish nothing with notes of dark malts, bit roasted. (It’s like the second flush out of facility where was a good dark beer.) Light, but drinkable body, medium carbonation.
Bad. Maybe the worst Dunkel I’ve ever had (but I can imagine worse...). This one is refreshing in summer days, if nothing else...
Bottle 0,5l. Clear, brown colored beer. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, roasted malt, slight tones of cherries, plum jam. A bit sweet flavor, some roasted tones, caramel, almost no bitterness. Light bodied, slightly watery.Cristobal37 (1142) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 25, 2015
Not tasty beer, disappointing.
A nice medium bodied dark czech lager. Chocolatey sweet malts are the highlight for me. Very drinkable and low abv. A nice example of the style. jaghana (6065) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JUN 24, 2015
Bottle 50cl, a brown beer with off white head. Nose is on toasted cereals. Aroma is on caramel, biscuits, metallic, berries, bottom yeast, brown biscuit, almost no hops, correct for the alcohol level even if not outstanding.

Had a pint of this beer on tap in Prague. The beer had a brown-dark amber color with a huge, foamy-creamy tan head with excellent retention, and good cling and lacing. The aroma had an earthy, herbal, and grainy hops blend along with very light touches of caramel and toffee. It was slightly sweet and malty with a slight toffee taste but blended with a somewhat bitter herbal and earthy blend. The body was wetter and a touch creamy with a smooth finish and mouthfeel with low carbonation. KoNrRiI (1510) - Århus, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2015
0.33 bottle. Clear, brown color and a small, tanned head. Strong aroma of dark malts, sour dough, and delicate sugarcane. Taste is somewhat sweet, again dark malts, hints of cocoa. Light to medium body, subtly creamy texture, and average carbonation. Finish is delicate, doughy, not very long. Overall a mediocre beer. KoRoBeNiKi (157) - Fair Lawn, New Jersey, USA - MAY 21, 2015
Bottle from a Russian restaurant that oddly serves Staropramen. though it was listed under "Staropramen Dark"
Aroma: Light dark malts, a little sweetness and bitterness detected
Appearance: Dark with a little red
Taste: A little bit of smoke with some sweetness and bitterness
Palate: Refreshing, easy to drink, some bitterness, light.
Not super good but for the APV, there is much worse to choose. Kjelle72 (15) - SWEDEN - APR 29, 2015
One of my favourites. Taste really good and the perfect beer to offer your firends! klm1 (1534) - Bled/SF, - APR 14, 2015
Dark brown colour with light brown head. Aroma of roasted barley, malts, hops, with medium carbonation and bitterness. Somehow watery finish. Too low abv. for me.
