COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark lager with an exceptionally fine taste which is talked about with recognition and admiration. Staropramen Dark is exceptional for its calming, full-bodied, sweetish caramel taste with gentle, hopsy bitterness. It is a taste you will never forget.

Nutty toasted chocolate-like and caramel-like malty sweetness in aroma and flavor. It is a good dark beer. Nagyon jó csokis-karamellás barna sör. Ár-érték arányban az egyik legjobb.

One of the beers that convince the Czechs they have the best beer in the world.

This is the lightest cerne I’ve had from the Czech Rep - brought this one back to America with me. Brown-red with head like a light beer almost. Has a good flavor, somewhat chocolately than normal Czech darks. This beer is eerily reminiscent of Newcastle. SIDENOTE: Dark beers are considered girly by Czech college kids!

A light dark beer which wont blow your head off (4.4.% vol) If you are an aficionado of Bok or Hungarian Bak beers this may be a little to light for you. But a good beer nonetheless and very drinkable, not too sweet, good malty, slightly nutty taste. Only 199Ft or £0.45 per half liter bottle at Auchan in Budapest... Good choice to give to friends.

On tap: Very nice dunkel. Has a dark brown colour. Head is medium lasting. Aroma is coffeish with notes of cocoa. Flavour is a bit roasted with notes of chocolate/cocoa. Very nice bitterness in the end. One of the top dunkels i've tried yet.

Very easy to drink, not very agressive and a good refresher. Its taste is rather sweet, and it would do well with dessert. A good beer for daily use.

The head is dull, the colour is dark but clean, the flavour is wonderful - toffee and caramel, the bitterness comes at the end, the taste foes well with the aroma, good body, good carbonation which can hardly seen, will go well with heavier foods
