Braník is a typical Czech beer with a very refreshing taste, a natural "bite" and pure hopsy aroma. Braník Brewery was founded by a group of brewmasters from small historical breweries in 1899 under the name "Corporate Brewery of Prague Brewmasters".

Nic moc desítka, vhodná akorát tak na spláchnutí žízně. Chuťově mdlá, ničím zajímavá.

Can. Courtesy Fonefan. Creamy white god mostly lasting head. Pale yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter ok finish. Watery palate. Actually ok beer.

Poured with a fine, thick foamy, frothy, white head that lasts and a tiny bit of lace. Color is a crystal clear yellow. Aroma is hop, sweet malt, grain. Not bad until the first sip - Then it changes to:sweetened GRAIN with a little bitterness in the background and finish. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor. Two dimensional beer. It is beer. It is an all malt beer, technically. Don’t know the point of this and you’d prefer not to ask me my opinion. Case closed; can is still open and about 2/3 about to be recycled via Pilzen drains.

Sápadt, szalmasárga szín, vékony fehér hab, ami gyorsan semmivé lesz. Illata visszafogott, enyhén malátás és savanykás. Íze édeskés, vizes füves, enyhén savanykás és leheletnyit komlós. Keményen vizes teste van, és közepesen szénsavas. Utóíze csekély mértékben száraz és zöld füves, gyorsan és nyom nélkül tovatűnik. Ez bizony igen gyenge eresztés lett!

Can. Pale golden color, rich foam, lot of bubbles. Grassy aroma. Taste is metallic, quite hoppy. Not very interesting.

(Can) Pours with a minimal white head that dissipates really quickly. Clear, light yellow gold color. Aroma is really bland, but hints of apples, minerally hops, and some slight biscuit sourness. Taste hints at a Czech Pils, but comes up short. The hops are too muted, and this leans toward just a regular pale lager too much. MF is very light with soft carbonation, and just a bit too thin. Not terrible, and could quench your thirst if needed. Just nothing to write home about.

Yellow with a decent head. The aroma has notes of corn in addition to floral and grassy hops. The flavour is refreshing with a nice bitter finish and a good malty base.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2010 Bottle, brought home from Prague.

No head at all, but a nice golden colour. The aroma is mostly indefinable hops and some yeast. The taste is very similar to the aroma. This is a sweet pilsener, and the bitter finish is never really present. Medium palate. Drinkable.
