Braník is a typical Czech beer with a very refreshing taste, a natural "bite" and pure hopsy aroma. Braník Brewery was founded by a group of brewmasters from small historical breweries in 1899 under the name "Corporate Brewery of Prague Brewmasters".

Pivo čiré, světle zlaté barvy. Pěna řídká. Vůně nevýrazná, nasládla. Říz vyšší, tělo prázdnější, chuť sladová s nepříliš výraznou hořkostí a s trochu nepříjemným kovovým dozvukem. Vypít se to dá, ale žádná velká sláva.

Not good. Grass, biscuits, rotten fruit and what seems like maize (in a Czech beer?) Hops? I don’t know? Noseblood and iron? Yeah, plenty of that. Not for me.

Láhev 500 ml. Aroma je velmi výrazně chmelové se sladovým podkladem, bohužel časem ustupuje. Pěna je jasně bílá, jemná, vysoká a držící. Barva samotného piva je zlatá. Chuť je příjemně sladová s jemným kvasnicovým nádechem, finiš je středně hořký a držící. V ústech pivo působí plně, má silný říz a je vysoké pitelnosti. Jedná se o osvědčenou klasiku za pár korun, která nepřekvapí, ale rozhodně ani neurazí.
