Can. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of pear, apples, sweet honey alike, sight cardbord. Taste is quite mellow with some forward marzipan - toasted nutty spice, alike flavours blended with some green apples, slight musky notes, mellow and quite thin for a czech lager.

hauxe (766) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - MAY 27, 2017
Pours clear gold from the bottle. Aroma is honey, cereals, hard mineral water. Taste is lightly sweet, the malt being dominant, and kind of bready. A few hard mineral notes, no bitterness at all. Body is light to medium with average carbonation for the style. Let’s call it dull.

BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2017
500ml Green bottle: BBD 20th Sep 2017. Drank at home on 18th May 2017. Good golden hue to the clean and clear pour, usual fast fading white crown typical of this style. Slight hop aroma and taste with the malts under the surface a little. A sunny day beer. This was the third Pilsner/Light Lager beer of a mini session and sadly the least interesting of the three (lost out to Moritz Fiege Pils and Pardal Echt).

Review written before I made ratebeer account. I can compare it 100% to Breznak, to the point where I’ll quote myself: "Very watery and not too tasty, but at least adequately priced. Ever since my friend started calling it "The Breivik", it became more enjoyable somehow. I’m a bad person, am I not? " Branik, Breznak, Breivik, all the same right?

Bottle split at CBC Islo, thanks to Chris & Ruth, 07/07/16. Hazed golden orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light bread, lemon rind, straw, cereals. Taste comprises more bready notes, oxidised tones, toasted grains, crackers, light orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for style despite the age.
